Ticking issue - Anyone run into this

Started my truck up the last couple days with it starting to get a little chilly in the morning there is a little constant ticking now from behind dash between stereo and floor board. Almost sounds like thermal expansion from pipes in a house. After 45 minutes it goes away i am assuming when truck warms up. Does not do it when warm outside. Dam thing is driving me nuts. Anyone ever have this problem?

Sounds like the issue with the HVAC vents/flap. Is the passenger side warmer than the drivers side?

No, same temp and still does with all HVAC off.
