My 08 6.4 PSD's oil pump went out at 103K miles only 4 weeks after i bought it and it ruined EVERYTHING in it so its being replaced with an engine from a wrecked truck with around 70K miles and its a newer year engine.They dont sell those things for cheap if you guys are wondering and watch out.....they have some fraud sellers out there so watch yalls money if yall ever fall into the same boat as me and thanks for all yalls help on my 2 month wait for my truck back!

Look up your states Lemon Law and see if you can recoup the loss.

i have an attorny because i still had 2 days of warrenty when this happened and the dealer doesnt want to pay so im working on that and the engine was 7200 plus 1000 core and 650 for taxes

does anyone know why the emissions sticker and specs on new engine is different from old one. old one has 07 on it and is more orange than anything with 350hp and 650tq but new one is red with 08 on it and 325hp and 600tq???

the 350 hp is 6.4 hp
the 325hp is 6.0 hp

well unless they gave me an 08 6.0 engine with two turbos mounted to it then something else is different here

if im not mistaken the f-450's were 325 and 600flbs might me a f-450 motor

thats true and i thought about that but i found out those stickers for 450/550 were blue and this one is read. im really not sure whats the diff i mean its an 08 engine compared to an 07 engine but maybe it was built in a diff plant or something

where did you get the engine from? they should know. pretty sure the 250-350 and 450 motors are the same internally just detuned im sure spartan/hs/kem can fix you up quick
