what to look for when buying a used 6.4 truck

im about to purchase a 2008 f250 with the 6.4, 68,000 miles, bone stock saturday.
what are some things i need to check to determine if it could be a lemon or maybe messing up?
certain temps?
certain parts?

if you are buying from a ford dealer,get them to test strip the coolant and see for yourself the dark pink result...if it needs flushing,make that part of the deal.

i have been looking for strips to test the coolant and cant seem to find any. I even went to the ford place on Friday and they said they didnt have any.

1 973 299 8237 ....$5.67 for a pack of 4....includes mail.sold by ACUSTRIP denville nj....very clear instructions....these things have a shelf life so you dont need too many.

it shows that part number is way more than $5.67.

just call em up and ask for pack of 4.....think that was a ford rotunda pn....just tell you have a 6.4....they have ford and NON ford test strips.
