land speed record

If you google ford land speed record, a 6.7 broke a land speed record for a production truck going 182 mph. It had a stock xmsn and drivetrain. Only upgrades were a hpfp, injectors, turbos, and modified the compression ratio.

I see the word production truck and I automatically think stock. But it sounds like definitely more then stock. Still, awesome.

im sorry that they are misinformed and only look at one event but to claim that the truck is the current record holder for utah is one thing that is 3 miles long the texas mile is a lot shorter distance and we have dont in at 193mph which in 3 miles would be in the 225 range....

that is a very hefty statement to claim fastest production truck.....in what catagory or race

if you read the articles, he broke 3 records:

Bio"DIESEL" record at 130mph
regular "DIESEL" fuel at 171mph
b20 "DIESEL" fuel at 182 mph

they are for diesel production trucks.
