08 help

A friend of mine just bought a 08 f350 with 147k on it. He will be pulling a 42 foot 16000 lb 5th wheel.

What should he do a nd look out for with the 6.4?

Keep an eye on fluid levels. Get some sort of monitor to keep track of temps better then what the gauges do. Take it into the dealer and make sure all TSB's have been taken care to date.

row, yes, but it would require a tuner or tune be installed which would disable the Regen process. Otherwise the vehicle would go into constant regen and throw codes.

Also, make sure he's aware of the potential downsides of doing that, i.e. reverting back and forth to stock for emissions or dealer visits, possible voiding of warranty, fines, etc.. As long as he's comfortable with it.
