Inline tranny filter?

Went to the dealer and got told I didn't need to replace the filter in my pan just this cool little inline filter that rezembles a fuel filter on my '10 f350 4x4! For the life of me I can't find this filter! The service mng said it was up under the hood by the raidiator, I've looked every where I could think of & can't find it! THanks for any help!

Your service manger is a little out of date on his information. The 6.0's had a trans filter like he's describing but not the 6.4 (even the job 1 08 that had an external filter had it in a different location). Make sure he understands your is a 2010 and if he says it still has an external filter, find another dealership (or have the service manger call the actual tech up and talk with both of them at the same time. The service mananger is just that, a mananger, he/ she doesn't actually spin the wrenchs, so while not ideal to have a retarded one, even if they are less than knowlegable, as long as the tech is good your truck can still get good service.)
