New Truck!

well. after over 2 years of looking for a new truck, me and my dad finally picked up a replacement for his 2003 6.0 king ranch he had. some back story in the first post of this thread Looking at getting a 6.0 soon


anyways. we skipped on getting another 6.0 and got a 6.4..


Its a 2008 F-350 CCSB. King Ranch. Job 3, 3.73 limited slip. King Ranch Chrome Package. all the goodies. 77,400 miles upon delivery. we got it for a freaking steal if you ask me and its in immaculate condition. came with a remote start, Access bed cover. and some aux lights mounted on the hitch.

drives amazing, i love the power it has even stock. well.. i mean my daily is a ranger so thats probably why.. but anyways. no plans for it right now, gotta get the bed line-x'ed. but i cant really think of anything else right now so onto the pictures..

^when we bought the 03 new, ford sent us a personalized King Ranch cooler.. im not sure if they do anything like that anymore, but we kept it and my dad put it back in this one. you can see it on the floor there




so the pictures are pretty crappy. probably because i was using my iphone.. but my camera is full of my pictures from bermuda soo its all i had.


also, quick question. weve had it since saturday. so about a week.. and put 800 miles on it so far, and it hasnt regened once... but weve driven a lot of high way miles 350 with a 10 foot box trailer loaded with furniture behind it. a few miles with a 20ft boat.. but other then that jsut driving. do you think it does enough passive regen that it hasnt had to actually do full regen?

Great looking truck! Congrats! I sure like the king ranch interior.

As far as a regen, you probably just didn't notice it go into a regen cycle. It shows on the display "cleaning exhaust filter" for just a few seconds then goes away. No message to let you know it has finished. If you miss the original message, the only way to know for sure that it is in regen is push the system check. In time you will get to know the truck and can tell that it is in a regen cycle by the tone of the engine. Then just go to system check to confirm.
