Ford Motorcraft oil. It's what they recommend.

You should stick to the recommended weight.

I run Mobil 1 Turbo Diesel Truck 5W40 in my truck.

I run either shell rotella t or valvoline premium blue in 15w40. I go between these two whichever I can find on sale before next oil change. I buy the oil filter at walmart, original motorcraft filter for around 18.50. I usually change oil and filter between 4k and 5k buy closer to 4k. Sometimes sooner than that since it it so easy to change the oil on these trucks.

Around here most of the mechanics I work with say Delo 15W40. I use only Motorcraft filters on a 5K foil change. I am eager to see what the Blackstone analysis send back on that sample. Maybe, an extended drain in the making. I am thinking about doing the same with Rotella next time around.

?? Is it advisable to run premium 15W40 in cold climates with a block heater option. We get into area that are sub zero that have access to power. It would be nice to stick with one oil with out changing to the synthetics just for 3-4 month is the winter.
Thanks
