Stock downpipe
I noticed when I was installing my delete pipe last week that my stock downpipe is flat on one side. The side closest to the frame is flat like someone beat it in. I am thinking it should be round all the way up. Could this affect anything? Is this normal?

The stock pipe isn't completely round all the way up. It does have a dent or two shaped in it for safe clearance. Even if the dent you are talking about isn't one from the factory, as long as its not too deep its probably not hurting anything since the stock dp has another layer of pipe inside that is even more crimped down than the outside.

You should see the pipe on the 2007 international tractor I drive for work. Mangled all to hell for cab clearance.
