'08 Superduty

Planning on buying a 2008-10 6.4 Super duty here in the new future and had 2 questions if anyone cares to answer for me real quick. They are both interior questions relating to unknown buttons to me. Every truck I've found these buttons on are 08 FX4s.

First on is by the 4x4 on the fly, I found some with and without these two buttons. I'm wondering what they are? Shooting in the dark a rear locker and maybe traction control off? Also a few of them only have 1 button.

The 2nd one is parallel to the 4x4. It looks like the same switch but some have writing over it and some don't. I've did notice one was a pullout for a cigarette lighter so guessing just that?

The top in red is Traction Ctrl and the lower is Reverse Sensors. The Yellow is 12v power... in my truck anyway

I still don't get why the 08 FX4 package didn't have the digital climate control option. That is one off the reason why I went with the 09 rather than the 08 fx4 I was looking at.

if you r familiar with Ford, you would know that they mix and mach most all of their options on any given truck, except maybe a base model XL,

where did your info come from?

I have never seen an 08 FX4 with the digital climate control. I got the info here on the org. There was a thread on someone trying to order the fx4 trim and could not find a bezel piece for dig climate controls. If you try and order trim from ford or tasca parts online it will not give that option for an 08. Only 09 and 10.

Actually, from your sig it appears you went with a King Ranch, not an FX4. If you had gone with a Lariat or King Ranch on the '08 it would have had the climate control standard.

right, but if you read his first statement, he choose the 09 because of that reason, not the 08 fx4 he was looking at.
