Job 2 VIN Cut off numbers

Guys,
I am looking to buy a 6.4 and i have the VIN, but how do i tell if it is a Job 2 or not?

I have searched and found build dates of 08/07 - 12/07 (is the build window for Job 2)

Surely there is a way to tell via a VIN correct?

I am a recent Gas to Diesel convert. I just bought a 2008 F250 crew King Ranch with 18K miles. I love it and it pulls my 26' center console like it isn't there. The door sticker says 07/07 for build date. From reading all the various post on this board, does that mean it won't be a good truck?

I sure hope that switching from Gas to Diesel doesn't create a lot of truck related issues. In reading all of your posts, it seems already that Diesels are a lot more maintenance than gas or at least a lot more items to keep an eye on.

think that's a job 1,, its a good truck, some just had a few issues that the dealer will fix should they arise. i gotta ask.....how do you pull a 26' center console? i pull a TT with mine, i like to keep my center console between the seats..

Must not fish very much. A center console is a type of fishing boat.
