I have a 98 c5 along with my ex.I was never a gm kind of guy til my vette.I have to say it is the most reliable car I have ever owned.My 97 f250 was reliable too but I got bit by the fuel bowl heater and cam sensor once.

I have a similar situation.

I have my '01 Superduty, Momma has her TransAm WS6 Convertible.
I have the Puller, she has the hot rod!!

Honestly if you can, try a C6 its a whole new car, a world of difference. I had a 97 C5 before this one.
