I don't know much about backspacing myself, but I would imagine that you are going to get questions like "what do you want? do you want your wheels to stick out some? If so how far? or do you like the factory backspacing?" I am hoping somebody will chime in here to educate me on this too. I like the wheels that stick out past the fenders a couple inches. Good luck

The 5.71 BS wheels will stick out a little more than your stock wheels depending on the width of the new wheel. The 4.56 will stick out an additional 1.25" assuming that both wheels are the same width.

i was told that anything under 04(leafs) should go with a 4.5....and anything over an 04(coils) should go with a 5.5......

a 5" or more is perfect for an 05+ and 4.5" is great on a 99-04 but will also work on an 05+.

If you want a stock look go with the 5.71 if you plan to lift your truck and want the tires to stick out like 3" go with the 4.56.
