A little background. I traded my 08 6.4 in for a 11 F150 a month and a half ago. Someone bought my 6.4 right away. I got a call from the dealer today telling me I needed to bring back the DPF so they could put it back on becasue it was throwing a code and the new owner couldn't have the warranty if I didn't bring it back. That truck was bone stock since the day 1. I bought it brand new and it was never modded. In case I need to defend myself -- From what I read over the years on this site a 6.4 would throw a code instantly if you had no tuner and you took the DPF off correct?

if you never took it off then, its not your problem, they should have noticed if it really was missing when you traded it in, and yes your right
