08 F250 Diesel Truck prices dropping

I just read a Sunday ad in my local Tampa, Florida paper for Brandon Ford:

"2008 F250 Crew Cab Diesel, Lariat, MSRP $50,040, Dicounts and rebates $6,400, Owner loyalty $1,000 for a net price of $42,640".

I bought my 2008 F250 Crew Cab Diesel Lariat from the same dealer months ago. I paid thousands more than this. I guess I purchased too soon!!!!!!!!!!

Go trade your truck in and then you can say you got yours for that price!!!!!!

MSRP on my truck was $2500 less than that truck and I paid about $500 more than that for my truck. So, I guess the price of getting my truck early was about $3000. Oh well, I'm not bitter. I love my truck.

I am not bitter. I took all this into consideration when I purchased my truck. Of course I do not like to lose money either!! I do love my 08 truck. It is nice to hear from another owner of a 08 diesel. Seems like most of the responders own older models even though this is supposed to be a 6.4 chat room! If you do not own a 08 6.4L then what is the point of being in this chat room??????

haha... wow - these forums are for everyone to poke in and comment on - we all have a good time here and like to learn/comment/remark/etc on something we may in the future purchase or may not...

As for the price, I would think that would be related to any vehicle -- those that purchase them 1st when they still have the "new" on them will pay more.... just look at the retro thunderbird and new mustangs...

Nope not bitter. I was just trying to make a point that a lot of the commenters do not own a 6.4 and are completely satisfied with their older Ford desiels. Feel free to comment all you want.
