Fuel Filter change
I went to local filter vender and picked up a Racor filter kit. Filters were about 30 bucks. I noticed the frame filter didnot have the little screen on it. The ford one had a little screen on it.
Question is would yall trust this or run only Ford filters? Another note my frame housing had what looked like mud and had pieces in it. Took it apart and cleaned it good. Do yall see anything like this when yall change them? |

I myself only run ford filters it's not worth the risk or having ford void your warranty if something happens to the fuel system which are very sensitive on these trucks. It's common to find junk in the lower housing you never know what your getting out of the pump i had all kinds of junk in mine the first change but seems cleaner the last 2 times might be junk in the tank and lines from when assembled who knows!!!
