New Truck

Okay about to buy a 08 with 167,000 miles for 17,500. There are no problems with the truck and is a one owner truck. He just needs to get rid of the truck. So what is the first thing that needs to be done to the truck? What are the problems?

if its lasted that many miles than nothing needs to be done, unless you want more power and mpgs.

I would like to get better mpg. Im not to worried about costly power adders

i would change all the fluids (both diffs, t-case, tranny, coolant) and anything else that may be necessary with that many miles.

08 F350 cc/sb 4X4
h&s minimaxx, 5" flo pro, 4" down pipe, no limit cold air intake, dirty diesel EGR delete with intake elbow, 6.0 exhaust manifolds, custom up pipes, ported intake manifold, Apex 71mm LP turbo, Rudy's cold side pipe, diesel site coolant and transmission filter, diesel site intercooler boots, ccv mod, bilstein shocks, gogo dd solenoid, HID lights, Airdog II 165, PMF traction bars, PMF drag link, moshimoto aluminum radiator

Ya i plan on doing that tomorrow. Here is a question im sure has been asked but im on my phone so its hard to read on here. Can i do just exhaust and CAI without throwing a code?

no. if you do an exhaust you have to do a programmer to turn off the regen.

Im new to this whole 6.4 i just got a good deal and couldnt pass it up. I have always been a 7.3
