Wiring the rocker switchs.......

I am wanting to wire a 12v pump for my bed fuel tank and was wanting to use the factory rocker switchs. Does anyone know best way or how to get to the wires. Are they already hot? Also I know theres different fuses. Which fuse size should I use for this. Thanks Chris

The wires for the upfitter switches are under the dash on the drivers side. They should be labeled if no one has taken it off. The #1 upfitter switch is fused for 30a.

I have had a hellofa time trying to figure out exactly what wires are for what? The 2010 owners manual says one set of colors but I cannot find the ones that match. I have found the 8 blunt tips under the dash and the 4 blunt tips under the hood. I have posted a few pictures hoping someone could kick me in the right direction.

I think you have the wrong wires. If you dig a little deeper, you will see 4 wires above those. These are the wires you need. I just hooked my amp up to these last week. I saw the cluster that you have there but they did not match the diagram I had. After some searching i found the right ones. They are not the easiest to get to though.

The wiring today went smooth. The 12ga yellow is aux1 on your switchs. I didn't go through and test other 3 but easy with a test light. Then under steering wheel theres a bundle of a bunch of wires the 4 largest which i think are 12ga wire are the ones that run through the fire wall. Not sure where all others go. I used the orange with gray strip. And wired pump to it. Worked like a charm. Anyone have question Ill try in help. Truely not hard at all. Thanks 4 all the help............Chris
