2008 F450 auto 4 speed or 5 speed

I know this sounds crazy but for the last few days (just finally got it back after HPFP change) the truck sounds like its running harder and at higher revs on the highway, if I put it in tow mode there is only a difference in lower gears when I slow down or come to a stop. Has anyone else had this issue or am I just imagining having overdrive. The truck is.pretty new to me and has been in the shop mostly since I bought it.

reset all the codes and now she's shifting to 5th... who knows, I'm really getting sick of all of the issues, this truck has been a major pain in the *ss, I hope it's all behind me now. wow...
