Mercon SP
I am not a big believer of leaving the stock fluid in the tranny, diffs, engine, etc. for very long.
My engine oil was first changed at 800, diffs not too long after.
The tranny I waited longer than normal, 15,000.
If you have beat on your truck, towed, etc. you will be shocked of the buildup on the magnet and the color of the filter. Mine had some, not more than normal break in stuff, but glad I didnt wait to what Ford says.
