Got the basics.....what now?
I just finished the install of my 4in exhaust (downpipeback), SCT 9625OR and the S&B Intake....very impressed with the results. This truck is my daily driver that I intend on keeping for a long while. I went with this setup because I am more concerned with safe relaiable power and longevity than I am with drag racing or sled pulling.
I do have one question about the EGR though. The tuner disables the EGR I understand, but is there a need to remove the actual componets now? Is there some failure that could occur by leaving it in place even though it is disabled? Being that my setup is on the low end of power increases, I'm wondering if it is necessary, but again reliability and longevity are my main goals.
