So bottom line, is dpf bad for the truck???

I am really interested in getting better gas mileage and am highly considering dpf delete. Is it at all bad for the engine, truck in general? Not looking for horsepower or torque increase (although i realize it's a added benefit). Best kits to buy? price?

Thanks!

The only downside to ridding yourself of that damned thing is possibly voiding your warrenty, too many upsides imo. Better mpg, no fuel in your oil, lower egts, better sound, increased longevity. I say go for it. Price wise, SCT would probley be your best bet. Performancetruckproducts.com or rudys at dpfdeletekits .com would either be a good choice.
