Decisions about cat/dpf delete

After much internet research, I think I am ready to make the plunge....I am going with both the cat & dpf delete and obviously tuner as well...I appreciate everyone on this site who has posted replies to my questions....I was really green when I first started researching this...now I'm only light green, I guess.

I would like some input from anyone who has a recommendation on products, but most importantly who they recommend to purchase from.....

I am also thinking of going with an intake, should I post that under another thread?

I have an H&S Minimax with the FLO Pro DPF/ DOC Delete Pipe.

I bought my package at performancetruckproducts dot com. Nate is the owner is a member here. Not only did he give me a great deal, he can answer pretty much any question or concern you have with your truck.

As well, his shipping is seriously fast. Everything got here in less than a week.

G4551 , I just did the install this week. I did the same thing as you and did a ton of reading and asking questions. I went with the H@S Mini Maxx tuner and S@B intake with a delete pipe. This package seems to be very popular at this time. I have $1300 tied up in everything, Of course the skys the limit. Good luck

I did the Spartan 210 tune DPF delete I did the budget ,mod under the truck, ( went to a boneyard and got a cat/dpf froma 2009 wreck for $100) and hollowed it out, I was concerned about an inspection because I go to CA, and AZ often, I disabled the OBD port also, and glad that I did, because I was flagged over this past DEC in CA. how many states are doing this ?

Took the plunge

Went with the Mini Maxx, and Diamond DPF/Cat Delete....and AFE air box (which I havent installed yet).....very pleased with the power increase...hope the mpg increases as I intended...installing the tuner was a snap, but I understand they make a "dash mount???"...the windshield mount sucks.....

All in all, an easy install...getting the exhaust out was a bit of a challenge...the flared end nearest the engine, didn't want to come loose, and I had to unbolt the DPF to get it out...not sure if any of you had the same issues, but satisfied with how easy the install was and the equipment itself...

Bought everything from Nate @ Performance Truck Products...would recommend...thanks to Nate and all those that offered advice
