Talking Love My Rig!!!

I would like to start a thread about how much I love my truck, and hopefully inspire some similar posts. I just got done reading some problem posts on the 6.4 and the new 6.7 and man its got me bummed. Yeah i've had some issues with the EGR, a track bar bushing, some oil leaks(one I'm chasing is likely a bed plate seal), a few rattles and so on. Dont get me started on the big can of death! At 50,000 miles I have to say DAMN, I have an 8,000lb truck that tows the shat out of my toyhauler, daily drives to work, would totally stomp a vette or stang or whatever, and gets 19mpg average(with my wife driving). So to hell with all the negative how about some positive...

BTW- I have never driven a car that didnt have problems. I used to say with my race cars and bikes "If its got t*#$ or tires its gonna give you problems".

So lets hear about how bad arse these things are!

I have almost 90k in two years, and it's in the shop now for some sort of pinging/rattling coming from the rear. But it is the best damn vehicle I have ever owned!

This is my fourth powerstroke and so far the best. Never had a tuner on my first 2, but what a difference it makes. Only downside is I only want to drive my truck when I go anywhere so it is racking up the miles. I'm glad there are those out there that figured out all of this engine tuning stuff, so we could breath new life into our trucks.

Bowkill, this is a forum, there are a few others on the net too. When people have problems those that can't fix them and don't have a clue anyway, take them right to the dealers. Those of us that can fix them or are at least willing to learn end up in places like this looking for answers. We are a small minority of people compared to the number of owners that are actually out there totally satisfied.

I love my new truck, it has a problem with the EGR, Ford is fixing it under warranty, I love my new truck.
