Hub Problems

This has been going on for a while now and when the dealer checked it out they didnt find any problems.
Anyway, the darn hubs are not unlocking. I used 4wd the other nite and then parked it and unlocked the hubs. I drove it today and it felt weird. I checked and sure enough they didnt unlock. I had to cycle the hubs while wiggling the axles by hand.
This is ridiculous.

I had the same problem, just louder and only one side. The driver side hub locked in and was making the passenger side seal squeal and it was loud! The dealer should be able to do a test on it, that is how they found mine, they can apply and take away air to it and see if it reacts. That is if you have shift on the fly.

If you want you can just manually lock them in and leave them. Mine had essentially seized up to where the vacuum system couldn't lock them in. So I used a pair of channel locks to lock them in and just leave them all winter.

Ok, it does not matter whether I manually lock the hubs or not. They simply do not unlock completely when i return to 2wd. I always find myself laying on the ground and playing with them to get them unlocked. The dealer is giving me the run around. Not to mention the outer dust shield on the drivers axle tube is broken.
