Flash update and warranty issue

Hello, ... I have a 2008 f-250 6.4 job 1 with 50,000 miles...that has been regenerating every 50 to 70 miles..annoying to say the least and I'm sure people behind me think the truck on fire..... Took it to the ford dealer, also have a coolant leak, states hose is leaking.said it was in a bad spot and took some undoing to find.

Called me tonight said there is another update on the ecm,, one was done about 1 1/2 years ago.did not cost me.....Question I have is any of this under warranty now..Dealer wants $500 plus to repair
