EXHAUST?

guys, i have a 2008 6.4. gonna get the minimax along w/ dpf/cat delete pipe. my question is should i get a differant pipe instead? i see on rudys that they have dpf back pipes for close the the same price as dpf/cat delete.what would the differants be?

a dfp back will not delete,go with a full down pipe back with a full dfp/cat you will like it a lot more and it will save from have to did it later and it will give you more power and lower egt's

ok a dfp back kit will not delete the dfp/cat. and just a dfp/cat delete kit is ok but if you start adding more power you will see the egt's go up. so to fix that you'll need to git a full down pipe back kit, this is the best way to go if your looking for the long run, you can start with just a dpf/cat delete kit and put it together over time but i think just spend the 600$ and you wont hafe to mess with it. but if you take off the dfp, you will need a tuner to tell the cp that its not thare. the guys at rudy's can go in to this more over the phone if you need more info.
iam trying to give the best info but i my miss some things.

I have just the same options you mentioned. Im running on the hot setting right now, and its not too bad on the egt's so far. think the highest I seen was around 600. but not consistantly. it runs around 400-500 in town for me. But Ive been pretty easy on the skinny pedel since its winter time where I am

2010 SUPERDUTY
6.4 CREWCAB

Mods so far!!

Smoked Recon lights
Predator8 wheels
Toyo open country tires
Dpf/Doc delete
H&S tuned
S&B cold air intake
