how much is a ford warranty over 100k?
I have about 95k miles now and all stock, wondering if it is worth getting a ford extended warranty and does anyone know the price?

You have to purchase the ext/warranty before the truck reaches 36K miles....

not true, i bought my with 65k on it, you need to call as it depends on mileage what you can buy. To get the 200k extension I do think you need to be under 60k or so but there may be other options for you.

From what I was told and read.....you need to purchase a FORD ESP warranty before the truck reaches 36K miles.....That is a FORD ESP warranty 200K miles / 7 years 13 or 21 major engine componets. Other warranties offered by ...other companies...I guess can be purchased....

"The eligibility period for the purchase of a Diesel EngineCare 13 item coverage plan is within the 5 yr / 100,000 mile diesel engine warranty period and have less than 4,000 engine hours." What you are thinking about is the 21 component. BTW, I paid $2300 at my local dealer, I know I can get it cheaper online, but it is worth it to me to buy local. I stand corrected.....In 09 I purchased the 200K miles / 21 major engine component warranty ...When my 08 F250 had 28K miles....at that time I paid 1700.00 dollars ..this was purchased local, When I cancled this warranty the truck had 135.5.K miles...I was refunded almost 700.00 dollars. I will be purchasing the same warranty for my 2011 SD..

Are you wanting a diesel care warranty? If so you can still purchase the 7 year 200,000 mile warranty as long as you have not exceeded 5 years from your inservice date and you are under 99,999 miles. Not sure about your extended care warranty. I just put a 4 year 48 mile premium care on mine at 55,000 miles. I know you go still get a warranty if you are over 60,000 just cost most and doesnt give you as many years. I wish I had the link to the place i bought my warranty. I am thiking if you are at 95,000 you wont get more than a year if you can get a at. Again you still qualify for the Diesel Care warranty. Look around on the interent incase things have changed recently. I bought mine 6 months ago. If you dont know your inservice date call for service dept and give them your VIN number and they will hook you up. If I can find the link I will post it up.

I bought my PremiumCare ESP from Ford Extended Warranty - Genuine Ford ESP
You're not eligible for any of the ESP based on the numbers I plugged into their online calculator. You ARE eligible for the basic DieselCare package, though based on what I see here: Ford Extended Warranty - Genuine Ford ESP That website takes all the guess work out of what you're eligible to purchase. You may not even be eligible to buy it if you're over the max engine hours. At 95k miles, though, I'm going to guess that you're somewhere between 1500 and 1750 engine hours. Just a wild guess.
