minimax installation.

Has anyone hard wired there minimax, so that it turns on/off with the truck. Was it hard? Whats involved?

I did. There is a purple wire by the ODB11 connector. It's in a bundle I just put 2 spade clips on the wires and bolted them together. You can use a butt connector or a wire nut if you want. It takes about 10 min.

^^^what he said.
There is 3 purple wires in that capped Bundle, But only one is Solid purple. Its the 12V switchable wire you need. I have my tuner pwr wire and a radar detector pwr attached to it.

The instructions on CD that came with it tells you everything you need to know. A couple minutes at most once you have the plastic steering column cover removed. Good Luck.

Check the 6.4L performance forum, theres tons of feedback on them. I have yet to meet someone that doesnt love the Mini Maxx. They are what I recommend most.
