tow/haul

how much do you tow or haul before you push the tow/haul button? i used it pulling a car on a heavy u-haul trailer last week, but do i need it with pulling or hauling a 250 4wheeler? it probably wouldn't hurt, just wondering at what point does it really need it. thanks

when its jumping between gears-keeps upshifting too soon then down shifting cause you need more power

I haul pretty decent weight(12,000) with mine and I have yet to feel I've really need it on(Havent had problems maintaining speed). The down-shifting when decelerating feels sloppy and is irritating anyways.

I usually use the tow/haul mode when towing heavier(older) cars and up. The only time I am hesitant about using it is in low traction areas and wet slippery roads. I have had the rear tires to break loose on downshift.
