Max tire size to pull a 5th wheel toyhauler
Hey guys I am off to pick up our new truck from the dealer today. 08 6.4l CC SB. We will be pulling a 5th wheel toyhauler with it so I dont plan on lifting it aside from a leveling kit in the front. If I recall I think I can run 35's at stock height but wanted to see what others have done with 5th wheels.
My old 99 I just ran 33x12.5x16.5 with just a leveling on front. I am debating if I should go 33's again or go 35's. I dont want to have any issues we will be picking up the trailer next week so I dont have it to measure at the moment. Just curious what some of you had done for tires with your 5th wheels. Thanks |

It really depends on how tall the fifth wheel trailer is. What I suggest is level the trailer and measure how tall on the trailer the hitch is and also how much room to the bottom of the trailer (The bed extension part of the trailer) you have. Then measure your truck and see what you can get away with. You need at least 6 inches from the top of your bed rails to the bottom of the trailer to be safe.
