150 to 200 mile regens to often?

My truck regens every 150 to 200 miles and it usually pops up in dash for a second then goes away but tonight it poped up and said drive to clean Exhaust system and stayed up then got on highway and it said cleaning exhaust filter that stayed up till it was done and it said drive to clean complete it has never stayed on like that before and nothing has been done different hasn't been to dealer is it maybe cuz I needed to finish a regen or something and should I bring it in to get checked about so frequent regens any info would be great thanks in advance

Mine did this. They replaced my mass air sensor under warranty and said that it was dirty causing the extra regens...

I haven't really driven it enough to know if that helped...

mine has about the same mileage cycle, always. It did do the drive to clean exhaust 1x. I thought it was because I kept going into regen and it didn't finish because of my driving habits for a couple days. Then, that came on finally so i did. I obeyed the damn dash.

if you park outside up here in mn. it makes your regens much more frequent. cold starts want to blow alot of smoke. i recently finished my garage and keep it at 52f and my regens went back to about 1 a tank instead of 2 a tank when parking outside. thats how i see it atleast

When winter hit, I couldn't drive enough to turn my regen off. Roads were too icy and too cold outside. I finally had enough and got me a mini maxx.

The way to clean your maf sensor is to get some crc electric contact cleaner a spray it on it works good.
