Water drain valve
Hey everyone great site. I have learned a lot on here being new to diesel trucks it is a great place to learn!!
On my 2009 F250 FX4 I bought used with 4000 miles on it and now I have 9500 miles on it. I have never had anything come out of the water drain valve on the rail filter. Should fuel come out if there is no water to drain? Just curious if anything should come out. Thanks in advance for the info!!! Ed |

Because it is located under the truck, it can get plugged up. Take a paper clip and push it up the drain BEFORE you open it. Yes fuel should come out at all times.
