Calculated 17.5 MPG!!!!
I took my truck for a 6 hour drive to the camp this past weekend. The read out was reading 19.1 mpg and thought that something had to be off by a lot. I never expected the truck to see over 16.5 at best. The drive was all interstate/highway w/o any stop and go traffic. Once I got to the camp I put about another 60 miles before filling up. The read out was down to 18.1. I hand calculated 17.5 mpg. I had 298 miles and put 17.035 gal. I had filled up one time before this, but didn't calculate it b/c I had half a tank gone before I left home. I get 13.5 around town.
I had to be very gentle with the peddle so won't be something I'll be able to get often. I don't like being the last one to take off at red lights. On the way home I took a different route, stop and go triffic/interstate. I was only able to get 16.

It has 3:55's.
Where you at scrapin the coast the past 2 years? There was an orange/ black 250 with 08 front and black wheels. Was with a black 350

I got 18.5 one time going ~60 the whole time on flat back country roads. This truck doesn't seem to like the 75 - 80 range (from a mpg standpoint) I normally put it through on the Interstate. I know - air resistance, drag, etc.

Hand calculated 17.5 on mine today. 2008 6.4, H&S hot tune, cruise control at 70mph. I have 3.73 gears and was wondering if I would get better MPG with 3.55?

62 MPH ='s really good milage for a truck our size. 72 MPH ='s "Dang this thing is expensive to drive."
