Remote Start not starting truck

Hi guys, purchased an '08 F350 a couple months ago that had a remote start in it. It is the factory Ford one. I never did get to try it before I purchased it and now realize something is not working in it. When I hit the start button, it goes into start mode but it does not actually start the truck. It runs like it started, all the lights on, doors locked etc., but doesn't actually start. No beep codes and have reset my remotes as per the manual. When I am in the truck and hit the button, the lights that stay on are the engine light, brake light and the one that has a picture of a lock and truck on it, it keeps flashing. Anyone ever had this issue? When I disarm it, I get no chirp codes. I am trying to fix it myself since it's still warm out before I send it to the dealers. Anything I am missing here?

Thanks in advance.

Couple things....

Can you find an install guide for the Rs system?

It either sounds like the tach wire needs to be reprogrammed or the security module that bypasses the chip in the key is not working properly.
