Hey Guys, I'm new to the Forum. Ive been reading and researching this site(the 6.4) for the past couple weeks religiously. Thankss to everyone for giving out such great information!

I just put a down payment on a White 2008 F-250 Crewcab, It has 48k on it.

Has a 6" Inch Procomp Lift with the MX-6 Shocks(Decent?)
20" wheels with 37's.
Flying out to grab it on Tuesday.

I'm Also looking to add the H&S mini maxx with dpf/cat delete and AFE intake.
I Plan to add after around 30days.. I'm just thinking new truck, feel it out.

I have to admit, The most Ill tow is my boat, or a small atv trailer. I love the look and interrior of the new Fords, hate the DPF emisson junk. Looking to up the mpg's and have some power.


Alright Now for the questions:

Can I get this truck atleast over 15mpg? Not towing.

With the Lift that's on it,(Procomp 6") Will this truck ride smooth? Hoping I'm not going to get myself into an alignment horror story..

I could get out of the Truck at no charge. If I'm over looking something please let me know. Thank you

Sounds like you've been doing some reading, I've only had mine for 2 weeks and haven't pulled the trigger yet but probably will next week. If you plan on hammering it with a big hp tune you want want to watch some of the traction bar videos of the leaf springs wrapping up and the rear end rolling the pinion way up.

Hey thanks for the reply, I'm not looking to go crazy on the added HP.

I'm looking to go with the first stage tune on the Mini max. Ive read good things about Mini and Spartans. I want the the tuner that gives me the best mpgs and still keeps my truck on the safe side. Also keeps my truck shifting smooth. Are Both tuners about the same?

With the dpf/cat delete: What Exhaust kit should I be getting? Any good website to be going with?

Go with KEM Performance if you want the best and this is coming from a current Spartan Owner. I used to say Spartan is second to none until Mike left Spartan and started up Kem Performance... I have a couple buddies with Kem's tunes and they are so prestige... its unreal! Mike's got these trucks dialed in, his tunes are so spot on... uhhmazing! Im not downing spartan or anything (obviously bc i run their tunes) but after a numerous amounts of times driving my buddies truck and me personally talking to Mike and Muj @ KEM PERFORMANCE they are top notch! If Santa is good to me ill soon be tuned by KEM PERFORMANCE
