4X4 on the fly

My 4x4 on the fly switch wont work. I have to lock in the hubs to have 4x4. what is the problem? is it a vacuum issue?

It could be. Is this a recent issue or have you had it in 4x4 before? The reason i'm asking is, I know you put a new cab on the truck and maybe something wasn't hooked up right or it may have came loose.

yeah, im going to check under the dash in the fuse box to see if its not hooked up. but somone had told me last night to pop the hood and unplug a connector thats mounted on the firewall and then plug it back in. im guessing to reset it.
