6 Spd. Auto in Near Future??????

Does any one know if the SD are going to a 6 spd. auto with the manual adjust on the shifter like the Chevy and Dodge? I would think they would be heading that way to keep up. An extra gear and manual adjust on the Torque Shift would be sweet. Any thoughts.

Yea I know. Everyone I talk to says that Tranny (Torque Shift) pulls just fine and needs no mods. Just think they may go that route to keep up with dodge and chevy.

Dodge needed it. To have trucks that big with those little trannies was terrible. I don't know why chevy would of upgraded and like you don't think ford needs to.

The 6.4 has a lot of torque in a wide rpm range. Five gears are enough to keep it where it needs to be.
