6.4's are too quiet

Sitting in the bank drive through the other day, when a sharp 08 crew cab 4x4 pulls up in the lane next to me. I looked over and admired the truck, but was amazed at how quiet it was. I was not in my old 96, which is about a thousand times louder, but in my Nissan Sentra, which I think was still louder at idle than the 6.4. Maybe I am young and dumb, but I like my loud vibrating old 7.3.

It's because the 08's are targeted towards women and the sissy business man. Thats why they are quite, have parking sensors, heated seats, rapid heat, tailgate step, long leafs for a better ride, ect... But a real man would buy that truck with the bare minimums hack off all of the DPF doo doo, make it loud, lift it, and put bigger wheels and tires on it then it will be a mans truck.

lol i like the way you think.... but hey i wouldnt mind some of those comfort things on long rides.... but i would still lift that sucka 8" and take off all that exhaust crap....
