Tonka cues in 08

If you look at the tonka concept from a while back, you can see there were a few things that carried over. I only stayed outside, considering most concept interiors are out there and just a "show off" of what might be and few things ever come to pass there.
The 08 F450:


The Tonka Concept:

Main things I saw-
Mirrors are closely resembling the 08 squareness and side markers are about the same, with the tonka's being taller.
The thicker grille than even the 05-07 models.
Stacked headlights
Side grilles are almost a dead ringer.

Things I wish they had-
The headlights on the tonka have a wider shape, I like that over the stacked slender look.
The dually fender covers are nice with the "around the wheel" shape instead of the full body panel. But before anyone stays awake all night wondering where they have recently seen it, I'll give it away. Dodge Ram Mega Cab.
The roof cab lights are in the top of the windshield. Neat idea- but kind of defeats the "clearance" idea of the lights eh?

man i wish they would have just kept the 7.3 and improved that engine to match power with competitors.... common rail 7.3 in that thing would be one bad ace truck

The front end resembles the 05-07 SD's. The only thing I see that it has that an 08 has are the side vents.

I do like those headlights better on the Tonka. Maybe I will suicide my doors on my truck.

the grills are close and the mirrors are too - but I think it looks more like the previous model years... man I wish they would have went forward with that design!

o ya that would be a pretty sweet side exit exhaust too for a stock diesel... you can barely see it though
