Need some advice

I have an 05 f250 with all the mods in my sig. i love my truck but it looks like my headgaskets are going out, i have white residue on the degas bottle. it has 87k and has been problem free until this. it looks like doing the headstuds will cost around 3500 bucks and i dont have it now. i was thinking that maybe i should just trade it in for a 2008-2009 f250. any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I went from an 05 F250 to an 08 F250 and I love my 6.4. Don't get my wrong I liked my 6.0 but to me the 6.4 just outperforms it in every category.

i get mixed feelings on it, some guys say get a job 2 or 3 but even they have a lot of issues. ive driven a few 6.4s and loved it so i dont want to go from one "problematic" truck to another-even though mine has been great thus far. the more i look at the 08s the more i like em.

I wouldn't say they have a lot of issues. The job 1s have a few radiator issues and there are some other issues that don't show up as much but I think it is definantly more reliable than the 6.0

i think i will be on the hunt for a good 6.4 and maybe a good trade in on my 6.0.

I would rather buy a 6.4, then spend $3500 in head-studs for a 6.0
