sound system vs train horn

well I am going one step at a time and at this point I think I am ready to either do the Sound System or the Train horns. I am just not sure what to do first.

For the system, I am for sure going to run 12 inch Kickers. Atleast 2, but I would like to run as many as I can. I was thinking 2 behind the seat, 2 under the seats and then doing a custom amp rack.

For the train horns, I dont really care. I just want it to be LOUD.


What should I do first? Sadly, the money tree isn't doing good enough to both at this time.

Id do the system as it is somethin youll use everytime your in your truck pretty much vs. train horns that after a few days or weeks you wont use until you get a wild hair

yeah this is kind of what I was thinking. I just have a lot of idiots driving around where I live and somtimes those bright HIDs blinding them arent enough to get them out of the way

train horns are awesome, but like he said you just dont get to use them very much. i would go with the sound system. especially with the set up you want, its going to be bad a**. and you'll actually get to enjoy it everytime you hop in your rig.

yeah I think I am going to do the system first. Train horns are cool, but I have realized I cant use them as often as I know I will want to.

Id go for the system also. I dont think your gonna get 12's to work though. I could be wrong, but theirs just no room for cubic space either behind or under the rear seat. Just my 02 cents though.

Gotta go against the grain here. I'd get the train horns. So many people have systems. Train horns are just BAD.

Yeah, me too - mine are in but not wired yet! They are definitely worth doing - I test fired them the other day and I haven't been able to hear a thing my wife has said, since!

I am on the train horn wagon also blasting some base a the A**hole that just cut you off don't get it! I am waiting on some parts to get my k5 installed i found out once you have one you really miss when you dont!
