More updates
Another boring day on duty so I decided to finish up a couple projects.
Here's how it looked before: ![]() ![]() Made my own pinch weld covers: ![]() Here's how it looks today: ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() It's hard to tell, but the pinch weld covers along with the seam that extends the length of the bed all got a coat of flat black: ![]() Now everything just kinda fades into the shadows. So for those of you keeping track, I painted and swapped in an FX4 grille and a set of bumpers. Got rid of my chrome Bassani exhaust tip and painted my DIY pinch weld covers. On top of that, I finally got an AFE stage II and loaded up Spartan's 250 tune. Last edited by derrick36; 09-19-2010 at 04:02 PM. |

Truck looks great. What are the benefits of the pinch weld covers? Does anyone sell them? Thanks

There are probably more companies that sell them, but this is the first one that comes to mind: deaknbuilt.com I made mine for about $50 using stuff from the hardware store. |
