Hey guys,
Hope this is in the right area to post...anyway got my 09 F250 last year and have been battling a window rattle on the driver side front window since. I've taken it to at least 4 dealerships to get it fixed, one of those dealerships twice and they havent nailed it yet, in fact they've been making it worse. It only happens at about 70+ mph. Just wondering if anyone else has had this problem with their 6.4 or is it just me and I'm unlucky? Appreciate the help!! |

Never heard of a window rattle. It happens with the window rolled up, down or halfway? If it's up then I'd say that the window is not sealing all the way. When it's up, the motor pushes it against the top seal with pressure to prevent rattles. What happens when you roll it down? Does the glass go below the top of the lower seal? If so, how far. If it's going below too far, that means it's also not going up far enough to seal and hold tight. The motors run off a worm gear to the window operator, it's possible there's something loose inside. It's easy to pop the door panel off. Let me know what you find.
