something leaking and driping on frame

My truck has been to the dealership twice in the last couple months for coolant leaks. They replaced the upper radiator hose on the first trip and said there was a loose hose on the second trip. Now today i noticed a residue on my frame where something has been dripping on it. If your looking at the front drivers side shock, its to the right on that piece of the frame you can see. Its oily like coolant. Does anyone know what this is that could be leaking and where its coming from?

It sounds like Power Steering fluid to me. I have had my Hydroboost unit replaced once already because of this same leak, in the same spot as you describe. Well it is now leaking again in the same place, so I am just going to let it be this time.

Well, for my truck it required replacing the Hydroboost. Luckily it was covered under warranty. However, I have changed one before, just not on a truck as new as mine. It is definitely more crammed in there on my 08, so it would be more difficult. The Hydroboost mounts between the Master cylinder and the firewall. So the Master cylinder has to be removed to replace it.

Hopefully yours will actually get fixed. Mine stopped leaking for a while after they replaced it, but here it is leaking once again

I owned 2 chevy trucks before my new ford and the power steering leaked on those as well so it is not just a ford issue.
