Stolen Tailgate

I live outside houston city limits and wanted to let everyone in the area know to lock their tailgates. Last night someone stole mine along with several others in my area. All F250's and 350's. Surprizing to me the new tailgate cost over 4 thousand dollars with the camera and step bar. WOW. Cops said the tailgate theft is through the roof. They said back your truck in as close to the garage door as possible. Also, I looked at a product that is made by Tuffy which bolts on your tailgate which is suppose to slow them down and maybe they will not steal it making it more difficult. The part is only like 30 dollars. I am fixing their *** right now if they try and come back with sercuity cameras, motion alarms for outside and a nice 2 year old German Shepard that is trained. I know my expenses for these dedurants wasn't cheap, but I hate stuff like this as anyone would and would love to catch them. Hope this doesn't happen to anyone else.
