Thank you for your service be safe.

Your on the right track with wanting to do oil analysis on your oil so that you can get the most from it. With me not knowing what kind of oil your running, I have heard 7500 miles is a good rule of thumb for most synthetics and conventional oils.

If your interested in getting the most from your oil and not knowing if your using synthetics currently you should consider it. While there are good synthetics on the market that offer OEM drain intervals using AMSOIL synthetics might be a better way for you if your interested in saving money.

Maybe someone using analysis will see this and chime in.

Thanks again for all you do and hope you make it home safely. If I can be of further assistance please feel free to PM, Email or give me a Call

My dealer here recommends 5000 miles, however if the DPF is removed you can run longer. I run amsoil and on my 2010 with DPF I change it at 5000. My 2008 with NO DPF I changed it at 10000.

I use Motorcraft oil, and use Blackstone Labs to sample my oil. I started at 6,000 intervals, went to 5,000 intervals, then have settled at 4,000 intervals. That's about as far as you can push Motorcraft oil, from what my lab reports say. I wouldn't risk running any type of oil much past 6,000 miles at the very maximum to be honest.
