Painting My Grill

Well I decided to go for it. I have the chrome lariat grill, and I decided to black out the horizontal inserts black. I am going for a good two-tone look. Its drying right now and i'm about to put some clear coat on it. I'll post some pics when I'm done!

did you paint the chrome or the black honeycomb stuff?

i actually dont have the honeycomb stuff. i have horizontal chrome pieces. almost like mini billet inserts. i painted those, and the surround will still be chrome..

thanks! it got too dark for me to take a pic of the finished product but i'm pretty happy with it. i'll put some pics up tommorrow.

I painted the gray inside part on my obs grill. So worth it dude. Looks good.

here it is. i think it turned out pretty well. its kinda hard to see from the picture cause its from my phone. but i think it goes well with black and silver paint job.
