Exhaust

Hi All.

I have a 08 F350 6.4 which has been great sofar but i'm a little concerned about how black my tail pipe has gotten inside, seems to me some are like that and some are still clean also noticing light black smoke on accelaration siting at about 40.000 k
Was just in for service and they said the tailpipe was normal but i didn't ask about the smoke anyone else notice this?

Mine has a black tailpipe, but it just washes out when I wash the truck. I have never gotten any black smoke however. My truck's got 42,000 miles.

the tailpipe is normal, its still going to get a little bit of soot going through there. but it just washes out. and a little smoke is normal too. whenever mine was stock and i would get on it, it would give out a decent puff of smoke. nothing to worry about..

yeah, you should be fine. and lets just say i love the spartan. i have the 310 tune with the 5" flo pro exhaust and AFE intake. its running great. i'm getting better gas mileage and the truck is faster than you can imagine. if you want go that direction, there's a few different options. you can get the base tunes on the spartan and the DPF delete for about $1400. My setup up was about $2200. And you can do all kind of combinations between those. Let me know if you have questions and i'll try to help you out.
