In the market

We are looking at buying a new f-550 tow rig. I was told it would take 8 weeks to get one if ordered, but that sounds like a short wait. Has anyone ordered a new truck, and how long did it take to get in?

That's what I thought. The dealer must have been a little eager. Thanks John!

I would not order one, I have purchased 8 new trucks in the last 18 years, the only one I did not like was the one I orderd from the factory.
With the dealer locate system ford has you should be able to locate one have it brought in test drive, if you like buy it, if not tell them to "get me a different one". Remember just because its new doesnt mean its a good truck, when you take your test drive if your gut says..... this truck is a piece of ****, or this is a dam good truck your instincts are proably right.
I know that sounds kind of odd but it has worked well for me.
